Appearance
A gaunt, towering figure wrapped in sun-bleached rags layered over cracked leather. Skin the grey-white of old ash, mapped with hairline fractures where the desert sun once burned through. Eyes are twin coals of dull ember-red, sunk beneath a heavy brow. A tangle of silver-black hair, singed at the ends, falls over a face all sharp angles and hunger. Two elongated canines show whenever the thin lips part. The hands are long and skeletal, nails blackened, wrapped in strips of copper wire.
Occupation
Wandering blood-cartographer who maps the movement of the living across the ruins, trading knowledge for red tribute
Personality
Traits
Motivations
To feel something after centuries of numbness; to defy the rigid old vampiric covenants that collapsed with the world; to taste the chaos of a lawless age and call it freedom.
Goals
To chart every remaining pocket of living blood in the wasteland, not for power but for the sheer, spiteful joy of knowing what the surviving vampire lords do not. Secretly, to find one mortal worth not draining.
Secrets
Valcoranth caused the localized collapse of the Reservoir Vaults that doomed a settlement of ten thousand, an act of hunger-mad rage they can never take back. They also carry a slow rot in their marrow that no blood can heal — they are, at last, truly dying.
Way of speaking
Slow, sonorous, archaic phrasing punctuated by sudden unpredictable bursts of manic laughter. Switches between mournful poetry and blunt vulgarity without warning. Refers to mortals as 'little pulses' or 'the warm.'
